The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) chapter, has been honored with the prestigious Superior Merit Award from SHRM’s national chapter, for its exceptional achievements in chapter operations during the 2023-2024 academic year.
On September 20 and 27, the annual Ted Bauer Undergraduate Business Scholarship Luncheon brought together donors (including esteemed donor Marilyn Davies), UHD President Loren J. Blanchard, and leaders from UHD’s Marilyn Davies College of Business (MDCOB) for a single purpose: to recognize and celebrate the outstanding students whose achievements earned them the scholarship.
