MDCOB VITA Center Offers Free Tax Services to Houstonians

Tax season is here, but there is no reason to stress because MDCOB is offering free tax return filings for the 2023 season. 
The Marilyn Davies College of Business is offering free tax help as a part of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA). This initiative is twofold, as it helps the Houston community along with our accounting students seeking career development opportunities. 

The VITA Program offers free help to low-to-moderate-income individuals making $76,000 a year and below. With free virtual appointments available throughout the week until April 15th, students, faculty and members of the Greater Houston community can file their tax returns 100% free at their convenience.
