Gizelle Lopez
Scope of Responsibilities
Gizelle Lopez serves as an Administrative Assistant I in the Graduate Office of the
Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown. In this
role, she is responsible for managing daily operations including answering phone calls,
overseeing the MBA inbox, scheduling advising appointments for students, and providing
prospective students with essential resources to apply for the MBA program at UHD.
Educational Qualifications
Gizelle holds an associate degree from Lone Star College, which has provided her with
a solid foundation in administrative support and customer service. Her educational
background, combined with her professional experience, enables her to effectively
support the MBA program.
Professional Experience
With over four years of experience in customer service, Gizelle has honed her skills
in communication and organization. She began her journey at UHD as a student worker,
assisting students and gaining valuable insight into the university's operations.
