Transfer Admissions Criteria
If you have 15+ college-level credits from a regionally accredited institution, you may qualify for transfer admission to UHD.
- 0-14 Hours: Meet freshman requirements & have a minimum 2.0 GPA on transferable credit hours.
- 15+ Hours: Minimum 2.0 GPA on transferable credit hours.
- Additional Requirements
- Minimum Cumulative Transfer GPA
- For a course taken more than once, the highest grade will be transferred
- Developmental coursework will not count in the transfer GPA and does not transfer for credit.
- Student must be in Good Academic Standing at the last institution attended.

General Application Processing Times
Application processing time can vary depending on the time of year. Normal processing time is 4-5 business days once all required application materials are received. During peak periods (one month prior to the start of a semester), processing times can increase to 8-10 business days.
