Scope of Responsibilities
Ms. Tran supports the enrollment, retention, student success within MDCOB. Her main
function is to recruit students and promote all business programs at MDCOB. With extensive
academic advising background, she also provides numerous ongoing vital projects and
campaigns for various needed purposes and goals of the college. She works very closely
with the Assistant Dean and Associate Dean of the college to enhance and uphold the
quality of student services and success.
Education Qualification
Ms. Tran holds a Master's degree in Community Counseling (M.Ed.) from the University
of Houston-Victoria and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the
University of Houston-Downtown. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and
a proud alumna of the University of Houston-Downtown.

Professional Experience
Ms. Tran has held many positions in higher education, which include Academic Advising,
Admissions, Recruitment & Outreach, Career Counseling, and Continuing Education from
both community college and university levels. She also has some work experience with
Mental Health and Community Counseling Services.
