Enbridge Supports Business Career Center through Partnership

The Marilyn Davies College of Business Career Center has received a generous gift of $20,000 from Enbridge

The Marilyn Davies College of Business Career Center has received a generous gift of $20,000 from Enbridge in support of the centers’ Employer Partnership Program. Enbridge Inc. is a leading North American energy infrastructure company. Over a 3-year period, Enbridge will support the Career Center's initiatives to prepare UHD MDCOB students for their professional careers. Marlon Joseph, Enbridge’s Talent Acquisition Advisor commented, “Enbridge is excited to be partnering with the University of Houston Downtown Marilyn Davies College of Business Career Center. Here at Enbridge, our mission is to reflect the communities in which we operate by instilling inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in our workplace. We look forward to working and collaborating with the faculty and students of the Marilyn Davies College of Business so we can enhance Enbridge’s brand and create opportunities for students.” 


UHD’s MDCOB Career Center prepares business students to launch careers by helping them develop relationships with top organizations through internships and work experiences. The Center provides online and in-person recruiting, workshops, resume building and branded events aimed at connecting industry professionals with our students. Career Center Director, Brett Hobby stated, “We are thrilled with the Enbridge partnership. Their commitment to our office will help support recruiting and career readiness programs for our students, including scholarships for attending conferences and other resources used by our students.”
