Dr. Liu has served as an Assistant Professor at UH-Downtown since 2012. She has also taught at Louisiana Tech University, College of Business from 2007 to 2011. She is the Recipient of The Organized Research and Creative Activities Committee Grant, University of Houston Downtown, 2014.  The proposal entitled “Is A Law Firm's Market Share Related to Securities Class Action Litigation Outcomes?" and received The Emerald Literati Awards for Highly Commended Paper, 2013.  The paper entitled “The Supplemental Role of Operating Cash Flows in Explaining Share Returns”. Dr. Liu has published several journal articles.
