The Marilyn Davies College of Business, we offer three AACSB-accredited graduate degrees designed with working professionals in mind: the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc), and the Master of Security Management (MSM). Each program blends academic expertise with practical industry insight. Our unique Corporate Fellows model, where experienced business leaders co-teach courses alongside our respected faculty to connect theory with real-world application.
- Our MBA program prepares students to lead across industries, offering multiple certificates and flexible formats including in-person, hybrid, and fully online options to fit the schedules of working professionals.
- The MPAc program is designed for those pursuing leadership roles in accounting and helps students meet the 150-hour educational requirement for CPA licensure in Texas while providing specialized preparation for the CPA exam.
- The MSM program, developed with industry partners, equips professionals with the skills to manage complex security challenges and offers certificates in Cybersecurity and Enterprise Security.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Build the skills to lead across industries. Choose to work with your advisor to build yout own program that focuses on your career needs, or choose from 9 Graduate Certificates including Accounting, Business Intelligence, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Leadership, Project Management & Process Improvement, Sales Management & Business Development and Supply Chain Management. Available in Part-time, Full-time, Online, and In-Person formats, with pathways designed for both domestic and international students.
Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc)
Designed to prepare students for the CPA exam and a successful career in accounting. The MPAc meets the 150-hour requirement for CPA licensure in Texas, and includes opportunities for an accounting internship, scholarships, and dedicated CPA exam preparation coursework.
Master of Security Management (MSM)
An innovative, fully online program developed in collaboration with industry leaders. Choose between a Cybersecurity or Enterprise Security focus — and gain the management and technical skills to protect organizations in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
MBA & MPAc Corporate Fellows Program
Both the MBA and Master of Professional Accountancy programs feature a unique Corporate Fellows model — where every class is co-taught by a faculty professor alongside a seasoned Houston business leader. Fellows bring real-world expertise in fields like finance, banking, supply chain, energy, and HR directly into the classroom, ensuring students can apply what they learn to their careers right away.
Graduate Academic Advising
Our mission is to help graduate students understand what is needed to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAC), or Master of Security Management (MSM) degree. Graduate advisors guide students through their academic journey by providing information regarding degree planning, course sequencing, course prerequisite requirements, grade and GPA requirements, etc. based on their particular admission status and graduate program. The Marilyn Davies College of Business (MDCOB) graduate advisors are dedicated to providing each graduate student with the information and resources needed to achieve their academic goal.
