UHDPD BOLO (Be On the Lookout)

The UHD Police Department is committed to keeping the campus community informed of potential threats to safety and has established this BOLO page to enlist your help in preventing and resolving crimes on campus.


What is a UHDPD BOLO?

A UHD BOLO is a broadcast issued from UHDPD that contains information about a suspicious person (person of interest), wanted suspect, or a vehicle involved in a crime. If you identify a suspicious person or wanted suspect on campus, use the yellow emergency callbox to contact UHDPD or call 713-221-8911.

If you have information related to a BOLO and you are not in an emergency situation, please contact UHDPD at 713-221-8065.

Person of Interest

On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at approximately 1621 hours, a student reported her scooter was stolen from the North Deck of the One Main Building. The suspects are thin build black males. Suspect 1 was wearing a dark, possibly black t-shirt, Dark Gray shorts, white shoes, dark ball cap w/ Oilers symbol on the front, beaded necklace, black and grey peppered beard, carrying a red backpack. Suspect 2 was wearing a tan t-shirt, blue shorts, white shoes, had an afro style haircut with a thin beard and moustache, carrying a graying-colored backpack. The suspect’s approached the One Main Building from downtown and last seen traveling Northbound through the Hernandez tunnel.

Person of Interest

On August, 26, 2023, at approximately 1725 hours, UHD Security Guard was checking the camera system and observed an unknown heavyset, White or Hispanic male cutting a bike lock, with bolt cutters, from a bicycle on the South Deck. The suspect had a white goatee, ponytail, wearing a blue long-sleeve button up shirt, white t-shirt, blue jeans, a black hat, black shoes, and a black backpack. The suspect was last seen traveling Southbound on the One Main Bridge.

Person of Interest

On August 29, 2023, at 1735 hours, a student reported his bike was stolen from the South Deck of the One Main Building. The suspect is a White or Hispanic male, mustache, slim build, wearing a white t-shirt, khaki pants, black socks, black sandals, carrying a khaki-colored backpack. At approximately 1704 hours, the suspect exited the Metro Rail, and entered the One Main Building through the South Deck entrance. The suspect then exited the building at approximately 1720 hours through the same doors, approaches the bicycle and cuts the lock. The suspects is last seen traveling Southbound on the One Main Bridge.

Person of Interest

On Friday, June 2, 2023, a student reported a bicycle was stolen from the North Deck of the University of Houston-Downtown. Two unknown White or Hispanic males. Suspect #1- was operating an unknown color bicycle, gray or purple shirt, red backpack, blue jeans, yellow shoes and had a brown or grey dog. Suspect #2- was operating a black bicycle, a red University of St Thomas shirt, khaki pants, white adidas All Star shoes, and a black and brown hat with the word SAVAGE on the front with an unknown color backpack. The stolen bicycle is black in color, Vivi Electric Bicycle, and unknown serial number. Suspect #1 was last seen traveling Southbound on the One Main Bridge towards Commerce Street and Suspect #2 was last seen traveling eastbound on Rothwell Street.

Person of Interest

On Thursday, May 18, 2023, a faculty member reported a bicycle was stolen from the North Deck of the University of Houston​-Downtown. The suspect is an older male wearing a white or tan hat, black jacket, with a navy or black backpack with an object sticking out, dark colored jeans, and black and white shoes. The bicycle is silver in color, unknown brand, and unknown serial number. The suspect was last seen traveling Southbound from the campus on the Metro Rail system, exiting the Metro Rail at the Preston platform.

Person of Interest

On January 25, 2022, a Theft occurred in the One Main Building Room N415. The suspect (Black Male, short braids/twist, early 20s, gray/camouflage hoodie, navy pants with white stripe on side, black shoes) was seen leaving the area with a silver MacBook Pro 15 D Retina. The silver MacBook Pro has a black sticker on the back with gold wordings and shoe print, and a red beats sticker on the inside. The suspect was seen boarding the Metrorail at the UHD Platform traveling northbound. The suspect exited the Metrorail at the Burnett Transit Center/Casa De Amigos, located at Burnett Street @ North Main Street.

Person of Interest

On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, UHD PD received a report of an Indecent Exposure that occurred at approximately 1252 hours at the One Main Building Library/5th floor. The suspect was a blk male wearing a blk head covering (durag), blk t shirt w/ a picture of a woman, blk shorts, blk socks and grey shoes with a white trim was last seen near the Science and Technology Building and traveling towards 198 N Main Street and 1001 Vine Street (H/I Lots). The suspect was arrested on Wednesday, July 27th 2022.
