CIEE Study Abroad - Council on International Educational Exchange
Offers 200 study abroad programs in more than 60 cities and 40 countries. CIEE program fees include tuition, housing, meals, an optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, pre-departure advising, host institution insurance, and other travel benefits. SFS - School for Field Studies
SFS creates transformative study abroad experiences through field-based learning and research. Our educational programs explore the social and ecological dimensions of the complex environmental problems faced by our local partners, contributing to sustainable solutions in the places where we live and work.

Affiliated programs are run by study abroad providers with which UHD has signed official agreements. Some of these programs offer discounts to their affiliates. UHD financial aid usually transfers.
Arcos Learning Abroad
Offers Spanish courses for all levels, elective courses in English and Spanish for a variety of academic areas and internships. Programs terms available year-round. Arcos focuses on four locations: Granada, Spain / Heredia, Costa Rica / Buenos Aires, Argentina / Oaxaca, Mexico. Students stay with carefully vetted homestays in order to maximize their language learning opportunities and cultural immersion.

Coursework and programming available for a variety of majors. There is a particular

Internships
Internship courses for credit are available on Arcos programs. This provides students

ESC - The European Study Center in Heidelberg-Germany
ESC takes place in Heidelberg, Germany at the University of the Incarnate Word.
The program fee includes Up to 15 US credits per semester, official transcripts from the University of the Incarnate Word and the SRH University Heidelberg, orientation program, and support from the on-site team.

USAC - University Studies Abroad Consortium
Offers programs in 28 countries across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and Central and South America. USAC uniquely offers programs in smaller cities or towns; USAC strategically selects locations where students will have maximum opportunities to immerse themselves in the local culture. Programs in smaller cities also brings program costs down for students.

Volunteering and Internships
Students can volunteer abroad at most locations and may also pursue an internship with USAC during the long semesters.
Scholarships
First Generation Scholarship: Multiple awards will be given in the amount of $750-$1,000.
Military Service Scholarship: Multiple awards will be given in the amount of $750-$1,000.
Regional Scholarships: Scholarships are available for each of the five geographic
regions with USAC programs (Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania). All
degree-seeking students with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible. Multiple awards ranging
from $500-$1,000 will be awarded each semester.
Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering (STEM) Scholarship: All degree-seeking
students with a declared STEM major or minor and a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible for
this scholarship. Multiple awards will be given in the amount of $750-$1,000.
WorldStrides Higher Education
Offers programs through two subdivisions: International Studies Abroad (ISA) focusing on programs in Europe, Latin America and Africa and The Education Abroad Network (TEAN) focusing on programs in Asia and the Pacific. Regardless of whether you choose an ISA or TEAN program, their program fee includes tuition, housing, overseas health insurance, excursions, airport reception, on-site staff support, pre-departure orientation, (some) meals, and more!
