Nu Lambda Mu
Nu Lambda Mu International Honor Society was established by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council to recognize students dedicated to the study of nonprofit management, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship/enterprise. Its mission is to advance the study of nonprofit organizations and their function in society and to promote scholarly achievement among those who engage in these academic pursuits.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to become a member of the Nu Lambda Mu international honor society at the graduate level, the student must meet each of the criteria below:
- Be a current graduate student or possess a graduate degree or graduate certificate from a NACC-affiliated program (MA in Nonprofit Management and Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Strategic Planning are both NACC-affiliated).
- Be pursuing (or have earned) a master’s degree, PhD, concentration, and/or graduate certificate in nonprofit, philanthropy, and/or social entrepreneurship related studies.
- In their last semester of the degree (or have already graduated).
- Hold a minimum cumulative 3.70 GPA
- Pay the one-time, nonrefundable application fee of $50
