MASC Scholarships
MA in Strategic Communication New Graduate Student Scholarship
This is a competitive scholarship and the recipients will be determined by the quality of the essay and prior undergraduate and/or graduate GPA (if applicable). This award is restricted to expenses associated with credit bearing coursework at UHD, including tuition, books, fees, and/or supplies in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Award Amount: $1,000
Application Deadline: Fall 2025 applications will be announced in April
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
- Complete and submit the General UHD Scholarship Application
- Have applied for admission into the MASC program for the Spring 2025 or Fall 2025 semester
- Have a prior undergraduate and/or graduate GPA (if applicable) of 3.0+
- Have completed less than 6 semester credit hours in the MASC program prior to the start of the spring 2025 semester
- Be registered for at least 3 semester credit hours in the MASC program for the spring 2025 semester
- Fall 2025 applications will be announced in April

This is a competitive scholarship and the recipients will be determined by the quality of the essay and their UHD Graduate GPA. This award is restricted to expenses associated with credit bearing coursework at UHD, including tuition, books, fees, and/or supplies in the 2024-2025 academic year.
Award Amount: $1,000
Application Deadline: Fall 2025 applications will be announced in April
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must:
- Complete and submit the General UHD Scholarship Application
- Be a continuing graduate student with at least 6 semester credit hours completed in a UHD CHSS certificate or master’s program
- Have a UHD Graduate GPA of 3.0+ and be in good academic and financial standing at the university
- Be enrolled in the MASC program for the spring 2025 semester
- Be registered for at least 3 semester credit hours in the MASC program for the spring 2025 semester
- Fall 2025 applications will be announced in April
