Camtasia

What is Camtasia?

Camtasia Studio is an all-in-one screen recorder and video editor. Camtasia records your onscreen computer activity, PowerPoint presentations, voiceovers, webcam video, and any additional actions performed on a computer, and then allows you to make online tutorials or interactive instructional videos.

Camtasia also enables adding audio annotations, inserting various types of visual callouts, and further editing of presentations. The resulting "screencast" can be saved in various formats and sizes for online delivery. The University of Houston-Downtown has acquired Camtasia licensing as part of the TechSmith Camtasia/Snagit Bundle.
