Educational Leadership

Join us! Our first-ever Educational Leadership program begins Fall 2021

We are changing up traditional K-12 preparation—to better meet modern demands. America needs transformative leaders in K-12 education whose passion for quality and equity is matched by a firsthand knowledge of learning and development, a firm grasp of policy and assessment issues, and the organizational management skills to translate visionary ideas into real-world success.

Leadership matters.  Preparation matters.  Student success matters.

Students

Applications open April 1, 2021. In the meantime, we invite you to explore our two Educational Leadership Pathways below and reach out if we can clarify or assist in any way. We’ll offer the first-ever Foundations of Educational Leadership Certificate and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an Educational Leadership concentration. Both prepare students for an array of K-12 roles at the school- and district-level and will be offered in online formats using a cohort approach—so working teachers have built-in peer support and asynchronous learning options.

Faculty

We are seeking innovative, highly-effective Educational Leadership faculty to serve on our inaugural team beginning this fall. While you need K-12 leadership experience, we invite you to additionally bring commitment and passion for student equity and success. We provide an award-winning department, vibrant community in which to work, and we offer first-of-its-kind programming in the Houston region. We need faculty that are excited to take the lead and represent us well in the classroom, community, and the field. Awesomeness welcomed.
