These programs are run by providers that have been approved by UHD but we have not signed official agreements. Though UHD students do not receive discounts, many of these providers have scholarships and grants for which students can apply. UHD financial aid does not transfer for these programs.

API

Offers programs in Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania. Their program fee uniquely includes tuition, housing, airport/train station pick-up, on-site staff and orientation, cultural excursions (international excursions in most fall/spring semesters), meals (in select programs), medical and life insurance, cultural and social activities, and volunteer opportunities.

Internships

CIEE

CIEE Study Abroad - Council on International Educational Exchange
Offers 200 study abroad programs in more than 60 cities and 40 countries. CIEE program fees include tuition, housing, meals, an optional on-site airport meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, orientation, cultural activities, local excursions, pre-departure advising, host institution insurance, and other travel benefits. Please refer to the CIEE website for complete information about program fee breakdowns, inclusions, and estimated additional costs.

Majors

Offers 85+ locations across the globe, including South American, Asian, and European countries. IES Abroad believes that every student should have the opportunity to go abroad—especially in a fun, safe, and superior academic and cultural environment.

Offers affordable, major-specific programs taught in English, so students can stay on course to graduate. Study or intern in Australia, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, England, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Peru, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Thailand, or UAE.

SFS

School for Field Studies
Offers students a unique opportunity to become a part of a global community by studying in in Australia’s ancient rainforests, tracking elephants through the Serengeti, or diving among the vibrant coral reefs of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Programs take place in countries, such as Peru, Australia, Cambodia, Chile, and many more. Their program fee includes room and board, park entrance fees, field equipment, supplies, orientation, and pre- and post-program advisory services.

Majors
SFS welcomes students from all majors and backgrounds from economics to zoology, especially those interested in field-based careers such as conservation, ethics, environmental change, ecology, and biodiversity. Internships
Students can take internship positions that are typically posted in early to mid-fall (for a January start) and early to mid-spring (for a May-June or late August start). Their internship program includes emergency medical evaluation, repatriation insurance coverage, and an invitation to attend SFS courses and lectures.

Offers 120 programs in 22 countries, 44 cities, with 88 majors during semester, quarter, January and summer terms. Their programs are designed to have authentic experiences for an affordable price. The program fee includes housing, medical, and accident insurance.

ESC - The European Study Center (ESC) Heidelberg-Germany.
  
ESC takes place in Heidelberg, Germany at the University of the Incarnate Word. 
The program fee includes Up to 15 US credits per semester, official transcripts from the University of the Incarnate Word 
and the SRH University Heidelberg, orientation program, and support from the on-site team. 

Majors 
All majors are welcomed. Some of the courses available include business, international marketing, 
financial management, politics, and cross-cultural communication.

Internships 
Students can take internship positions that are a minimum of 6 months that start ideally in January, March or September. 
Their internship program includes a paid internship, and housing will be provided at no costs if needed.

School for Field Studies

SFS creates transformative study abroad experiences through field-based learning and research. 
Our educational programs explore the social and ecological dimensions of the complex environmental problems faced by our local partners, contributing to sustainable solutions in the places where we live and work.

SIT Study Abroad

Offers unique programs in non-traditional locations including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and Fiji, South America, and some locations in Europe. SIT programs are field-based, immersive experiences with unique course options. 
All SIT programs include either a research or internship component.

Many major opportunities are available. SIT courses focus around critical global issues 
including Global Health, Development, Economy, Social Change, Human Rights, Migration and Identity, and the Environment.

Arcos Learning Abroad

Offers Spanish courses for all levels, elective courses in English and Spanish for a variety of academic areas and internships. 
Programs terms available year-round. Arcos focuses on four locations: Granada, Spain / Heredia, Costa Rica / Buenos Aires, Argentina / Oaxaca, Mexico. 
Students stay with carefully vetted homestays in order to maximize their language learning opportunities and cultural immersion. 


Majors
Coursework and programming available for a variety of majors. There is a particular focus on Spanish language and elective courses.

Internships
Internship courses for credit are available on Arcos programs.

University Studies Abroad Consortium

Offers programs in 28 countries across Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and Central and South America. USAC uniquely offers programs in smaller cities or towns; USAC strategically selects locations where students will have maximum opportunities to immerse themselves in the local culture. Programs in smaller cities also brings program costs down for students.

Volunteering & Internships  
Students can volunteer abroad at most locations and may also 
pursue an internship with USAC during the long semesters.

Multiple awards will be given in the amount of $750-$1,000.

Multiple awards will be given in the amount of $750-$1,000.

Regional Scholarships
Scholarships are available for each of the five geographic regions with USAC programs 
(Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania). All degree-seeking students with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible. 
Multiple awards ranging from $500-$1,000 will be awarded each semester. 

Science, Technology, Math, and Engineering (STEM) Scholarship 
All degree-seeking students with a declared STEM major or minor and a minimum 3.0 GPA are 
eligible for this scholarship. 
Multiple awards will be given in the amount of $750-$1,000.
