Commencement Tickets

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked with NRG and Ticketmaster to resolve the technical issue regarding our second round of guest ticketing. We understand that commencement is a monumental occasion for you and your family and friends, and we apologize for any frustration or inconvenience caused by delays in ticketing. Ticketmaster has addressed the technical issue, and the additional tickets are now accessible.

Graduates may now log in to Ticketmaster to claim available tickets using the new password and the instructions that were shared on December 1.

As a reminder, the first round of guest ticket distribution provided each graduating student with four guest tickets. This second round includes any tickets not claimed by the initial request deadline. During this round, each graduating senior is eligible for up to four guest tickets, on a first-come, first-served basis while seats remain available, whether or not tickets were claimed in the first round.

Overflow Seating
Please note that the seating capacity for our commencement ceremony configuration is 4,690 and does not equal NRG's seating capacity as listed online.

UHD is coordinating with NRG Arena to establish overflow seating where guests can view the ceremony on screens in a separate area within the same arena complex. Overflow seating will be extensive. After the ceremony, graduates will be able to reunite with all guests.

Tickets for the overflow seating differ from the tickets provided in the first and second distribution rounds. Overflow tickets will be available beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, in the UHD Registrar's Office, located in the One Main Building, Suite N330.

Streaming Options
As a reminder, both ceremonies will be livestreamed online. Guests unable to attend in person may watch the ceremony on UHD's YouTube Channel, either live as the ceremonies occur or on demand.

Requesting Additional Guest Tickets

Additional guest ticket reservations for UHD's 79th Commencement Ceremony are available as of 2 p.m. on December 1. Graduating students will be eligible for up to four additional guest tickets while the extra tickets remain available. Extra tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

When ordering guest tickets, you’ll be asked for a passcode. Your passcode is the letter A or B (depending on your ceremony) followed by your 7-digit UHD Student ID number.

For the second round of guest tickets, you will need a NEW passcode when placing your additional guest ticket order. Your passcode is a combination of the letter A and your UHD 7-digit Student ID number.

Letter A + UHD 7-digit Student ID number
Example Ticket Passcode (First Ceremony) = B1234567
Example Ticket Passcode (Second Ceremony) = A7654321
