Commencement Tickets

Guest tickets are now available for UHD's 75th Commencement Ceremony taking place on Saturday, December 16 at the Berry Center. Guest tickets for the ceremonies can be requested online through the links below and will be accessible through Thursday, November 30, 2023.

Ticketing Information:

  • Each graduating student can reserve up to seven guest tickets for their ceremony.
  • All guests except for lap children under two years of age will need their own ticket to enter the Berry Center.
  • Graduating students do not need a guest ticket.
  • Guests will sit in assigned seats based on your guest ticket selection.
  • Guest tickets requested through the Berry Center will be digital tickets and sent to you via email once reserved.

When requesting guest tickets, you will need to ensure you select the correct ceremony time. Please see below to confirm the ceremony time and claim your guest tickets. If you are unsure of your college, reach out to your college advising center or view the majors list below.

Reminder: You will need a passcode when placing your guest ticket order.
Your passcode is a combination of your UHD 7-digit Student ID number and your 8-digit date of birth.

Example: ID number = 1234567 Date of birth = 01/01/2000
Ticket Passcode = 123456701012000

TICKET ALLOTMENT

Each graduating student will have access to up to seven tickets for their designated college ceremony. Graduating students do not need a ticket to participate in their ceremony.

TICKET AVAILABILITY

Guest tickets will be available November 1-30, 2023. Graduating students will be required to enter their seven-digit Student ID and date of birth as their password when requesting tickets. Graduates MUST select the ceremony for their College in order to request tickets. Tickets will be distributed in a digital format via the Berry Center ticket distribution webpage.

There is no cost for the tickets. Students cannot sell unused tickets and should only reserve the number of tickets needed up to seven. Students who sell unused tickets may be in violation of the student code of conduct and may be subject to a referral to the Dean of Students.

GUEST SEATING POLICIES

Guest seating will be enforced based on the seat assignment for each ticket. Lap children two years of age or less do not require an individual ticket but must sit in the lap of a ticketed guest for the duration of the ceremony. 

If a graduating student or guest wishes to transfer a reserved ticket to another individual, neither UHD nor the Berry Center will be involved in verifying the ticket's authenticity or coordinating the transfer. Once a ticket is scanned at the door, it cannot be used again.

TICKET LOTTERY

The Commencement Ticket Lottery will allow graduating students to request up to three additional guest tickets. Unclaimed guest tickets will be reallocated at the conclusion of the ticketing period ending on November 30, 2023. Each graduating student can only submit one Commencement Ticket Lottery Request Form to request up to three additional tickets. All duplicated or guest submissions will be removed. Requests do not guarantee any additional tickets.

The Lottery Request Form will open on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 10 a.m. at the same time guest tickets become available. The availability of extra tickets is not guaranteed and depends on the number of graduates and the amount of unclaimed tickets. Please plan accordingly. Tickets awarded via the Lottery Request Form will be random and there is no guarantee that guests will be seated together.

If selected in the ticket lottery, graduating students will be notified after December 4, 2023.

Lottery tickets will be printed and available for pick up in December 2023.
