Social wellbeing refers to the quality of relationships and interactions a person has with others and their sense of belonging within a community.

Core Elements of Social Wellbeing include:

  • Connection: Feeling close to and valued by others
  • Support: Having reliable people to turn to
  • Engagement: Participating in meaningful social activities, groups, or communities
  • Communication: Being able to express oneself and listen effectively
  • Belonging: Feeling accepted and included in social circles or environments
