How to Apply

To receive most types of financial aid—including federal, state, and institutional grants, loans, and work-study eligibility—you must complete either the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or download Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). These applications are to be submitted every year. The priority deadline at UHD for the FAFSA is April 1 and January 15 for the TASFA application.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for financial aid the applicant must be seeking a degree at UHD (Bachelor’s or Master’s). Students who are not seeking a degree at UHD will not be eligible for financial aid.

Which Application?
