Families and Politics
Just in time for Thanksgiving gatherings, our friends at Braver Angels will present a Family and Politics workshop for everyone who struggles over political differences with a loved one. Simulating a family gathering, we’ll enjoy a meal together as participants learn how to preserve family bonds while staying true to their values and political beliefs. After all, we all come from quirky families!
You will learn about the family dynamics of political differences, apply them to your family, and learn and practice effective communication skills with difficult family members. Learn and practice effective communication skills to use with difficult family members. Although the focus is on family relationships, these strategies can be used with any loved one.

Tuesday, November 18th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
