God of Carnage
God of Carnage by Yasmina Reza
God of Carnage is a sharp, fast-paced comedy that begins with two sets of parents meeting to calmly discuss a playground fight between their children. What starts as a polite, civilized conversation quickly unravels into chaos, exposing the thin veneer of social manners and the raw instincts simmering beneath. As alliances shift and tensions escalate, the play satirizes modern notions of civility, revealing how quickly adults can become just as petty and impulsive as the children they aim to discipline.
