Criteria for Interns

Is there a minimum age?

What personal, professional, or office skills do they need?

Open-minded, compassionate individuals only need apply. Spanish/English bilingual preferable, but certainly not required.

Do you want the internship to be available to all Social Science majors or just particular majors?
All social science majors.

Do you require a criminal background check, a TB test, or anything else?
We run criminal background checks on all potential volunteers (because of grant funding specifications, no felonies allowed in volunteers/staff background; all else case-by-case basis.) If a volunteer’s daily duties require client interaction, a TB test is required. The TB test is offered free-of-charge through our programs, or a TB test/Chest x-ray current within the last year is acceptable.
