Surveys
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) (pronounced “nessie” and "fessie" respectively) are administered at UHD once every three years. The most recent implementation of these surveys took place in Spring 2025. Administered to first-year students, seniors, and faculty, these surveys provide valuable insights into the student learning experience, engagement, and teaching practices at UHD. The findings help inform institutional planning, enhance the student experience, and support continuous improvement efforts across the university.
