This guide frames assessment of student learning as an ongoing process of inquiry that begins with identifying a meaningful focus, conttinuous through gathering and analyzing evidence, and culminates in using findings to inform improvements in curriculum and instruction. Within this framework, the guide suppots educational programs in developing assessment plans and reports in ways that support continuous improvement. 

This guide is not a policy. Instead, it serves as a practical companion that offers examples, clarifications, and responses to common questions that arise in assessment planning and reporting.
