The 11th Annual Empower Houston's Future: 2024 Greater Houston Environmental Summit, will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, at the Fondren Commons within the College of Sciences & Technology (CST), and will give attendees the chance to learn actionable solutions, participate in workshops, and network with local and state leaders.

On September 20 and 27, the annual Donor Scholarship Luncheon brought together the Ted Bauer Scholarship donors, esteemed donor Marilyn Davies, UHD President Loren J. Blanchard, and leaders from UHD’s Marilyn Davies College of Business (MDCOB) for a single purpose: to recognize and celebrate the outstanding students whose achievements earned them the scholarship.

Bikes, Literacy, and GatorServe

UHD came together on Saturday, Sept. 14, for a “bike build” for National Day of Service in support of improving our children’s literacy. In less than two hours, dedicated Gators built 100 bikes and put together 400 helmets.
