Virtual Lab

Apportois UHD's Virtual Lab, provides Remote Access for macOS and Windows Users

(Please note: Apporto is not intended for use as a teaching classroom platform.)

Log in at https://uhd.apporto.com
Use your UHD username and password to login.

Available Software Includes:

  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Visio
  • IBM SPSS Statistics

Using Apporto:

1. Log in to the platform

2. Select your desired application

3. Click Launch to open your virtual desktop

FAQs

All UHD registered students are able to use the virtual lab environment for assigned coursework.
Contact the IT Service Desk via phone: 713-221-8031 or email: itservicedesk@uhd.edu. Hours: 7am - midnight daily.
When you first logon to Apporto it might take a minute or two to establish your virtual desktop. After that things should return to normal launch speeds (30 seconds or less). If you are experiencing latency issues after the program launches you may troubleshoot your network connection using the Apporto Troubleshooting Guide.
