Apporto is UHD’s cloud-based Virtual Lab platform that provides remote access to specialized academic software. It is especially useful for students using Chromebooks or macOS, which may not support certain Windows-based applications locally.

🚀 Getting Started with Apporto

  1. Log in to the platform
  2. Select your desired application
  3. Click Launch to open your virtual desktop

Yes, all UHD registered students can access the virtual lab for coursework that requires specialized software.
  • Double-check your UHD credentials
  • Try a different browser or clear your cache

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Close unused browser tabs or applications
  • When you first log in to Apporto, it may take a minute or two to fully load your virtual desktop. Once it's established, subsequent launches should be much faster—typically 30 seconds or less.

    If you experience any lag or performance issues after the desktop has launched, we recommend using the Apporto Troubleshooting Guide to check your network connection and resolve common issues.
