IT Service Desk

The Information Technology Service Desk is the central point of contact for the University of Houston-Downtown community, handling all technology-related needs, including software, hardware, telephones, user accounts, and access privileges.

Students

For assistance during lab hours, students can visit Student Technology Services, located in the Academic Computing Labs. For any other questions or issues, students can contact the IT Service Desk by phone, in person, via chat, or by email using the contact information below.

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and staff can reach the IT Service Desk by phone, in person, via chat, or by email for any IT-related questions or requests.

Common IT Service Desk requests include:

  • Software installation
  • Microsoft Office support
  • Email setup
  • Printer toner/cartridge replacements
  • Computer equipment moves
  • Computer and laptop setup
  • Wireless connectivity issues
  • Telephone support
  • Reporting virus or spyware issues
