Cisco Jabber is a softphone client application that allows you to use your computer as your UHD office telephone, including placing, receiving, and forwarding calls. Not all features will be enabled within the UHD Cisco Jabber service at this time.
If you require a headset to use Jabber and haven't previously received a headset from UHD, you may request a headset from the Information Technology Department.
Do not make emergency (911) phone calls using Cisco Jabber.
Get Started with Cisco Jabber
You must be connected to VPN to use Cisco Jabber from an off-campus location. Please visit UHD VPN for further instructions on how to connect to VPN.
- Submit a Cisco Jabber Request Form to have this feature configured for your UHD primary telephone number.
