Visitor Parking & Request for Parking Services

Visitors to the University of Houston-Downtown campus are always welcome. Visitor Garage parking is a flat fee of $10 per day. The entrance into the Visitor Garage must be made off Girard Street, the northwest corner of the campus. The visitor parking spaces are located beneath the Welcome Center. Upon entering the visitor parking location, press the button to receive an entry ticket. Only credit card payments are accepted in the Visitor Garage.

Departments or individuals conducting events and bringing visitors or guests on campus are encouraged to contact Parking and Transportation Services at least three days before the scheduled event in order to help coordinate their parking needs (validation tickets, maps, parking spaces, permits, keycodes, etc.).

Visitor parking is intended solely for individuals not associated with UHD. Students, Faculty and Staff members should NOT park in the Visitor Garage unless notified and approved by Parking and Transportation Services. Click for map.

Department Validations

Validation for the Visitor Garage are available to university departments for distribution to their guests at a discounted rate of $5.00. Complete and submit a SC Voucher at least 48 hours before the scheduled day of your guest's arrival or special event.

Complete a Request for Parking Services Form for validations and to reseve parking spaces in the Visitor Garage for guest parking.
