Mutare Voice Traffic Filter
Illegal scams and telemarketing calls, including recorded "robocalls" are the FCC's top consumer complaint. If your are receiving these calls on your University phone, Mutare Voice Traffic Filtering (VTF) Service provides a way for you to block those nuisance calls.
Under the Call History tab you will see a list of all the numbers that have called your University phone. Notice the Block link beside each number. To block a number simply click the Block link beside the number. Once a number is blocked the caller will receive a busy signal and the call will be dropped prior to ringing on your phone.
Under the Personal Blocklist tab in the Blocked Callers section locate the number you wish to unblock. To unblock a number simply click the trash can under the number.
Under the Personal Blocklist tab in the Configuration section you will see all the controls for the daily email summary. You may turn the summary on and off, adjust the time of day the summary is delivered, and change the email address the summary is sent to.
