UHD Alumni Computing Resources and Guidelines
This document provides an overview of the technology resources available to UHD Alumni and the policies that govern their use.
Services Provided by Information Technology

Temporary Alumni Account
UHD Alumni may request a temporary account at any Academic Computing Lab or by contacting the IT Service Desk. This account grants access to designated computing resources and services. -
Printing Services
Printing funds may be added to a temporary account through the UHD Cashier's Office or at the print kiosk located in Room S800 (One Main Building) or N401 Library (One Main Building). -
Wireless Network Access
Alumni may connect to the university's wireless network using their temporary account credentials.
Important Policies
Priority Access
Computing resources primarily support currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. To maintain service availability, Information Technology may limit or defer alumni access during peak times.
Permitted Use
Academic computing facilities are intended for educational and university-related activities only.

Business or profit-making activities

Recreational use

Gaming
All computer activity is subject to security monitoring; therefore, users should have no expectation of privacy.
Compliance
Alumni must follow all relevant university policies, including UHD’s Computer Access, Security, and Use Policy.
By observing these guidelines, UHD alumni can continue to benefit from campus technology services while helping ensure fair, secure, and reliable access for the entire UHD community.
