Good afternoon Incoming Freshman UHD Scholars Academy member,

This information is pertinent to each of you in the following disciplines or related disciplines or to those who have interest in finding out/learning more about security and certifications.  Here are the disciplines that directly relate:

computer science
cybersecurity
data science
mathematics
chemistry
biology (virology)

Certificates will be tested for within these areas and testing will be paid by the project, if selected.

Commitment to the project has to be great as this is a Saturday and full July program.  

The project Co-PIs are Drs. Feng, Yuan, Yilmaz, Jiang, Standlee, Zhang, and Nakamura.  Dr. Parker is PI for the project.

Both precollege, incoming freshmen, community college undergraduates and UHD undergraduates  will be selected, so be sure to not delay your application.

Here are the dates of the project through summer.

Saturday schedule  (9am-12:30pm)
March 4 March 25 April 15 April 29 May 13 May 27 June 3 June 10 June 17 June 24 

 July 3 week program (daily) (9am-4pm)  lunch [provided]
July 10 – 28, 2023 
This Saturday program and July program runs from 9AM - 4PM for the dates listed.

If you are interested in participating, you must be a citizen, PR, or review the WIOA sheet attached to see if you qualify, if you do then fill out the application below and upload your WIOA or send to Ms Gonzales (gonzalesmer@uhd.edu) as quickly as possible.
