Organization Description:
Montrose Grace Place serves youth and young adults 13-24 who are homeless or housing insecure with essential needs, mentorship, connections to resources, and a safe space to exist. Our evening drop-in center "Youth Night" operates three nights a week, providing a hot, home-cooked, family style meal, bus passes, showers and laundry, light case management, stabalizing services, and connections with healthy adult mentors who volunteer with us. Our Diversion program pairs intensive case management and financial supports to help a youth alleviate their current housing crisis and work on long-term stability. Youth Voices Empowered is our youth-led advocacy collective where young people with systems experiences (homelessness, incarceration, CPS) build leadership development skills and healing-centered practices.

Mostly in-person Criteria for Interns: Good de-escalation skills, works well under pressure, able to work on your own. Also must consent to a background check (we provide).
