The primary objective of Talent Search is to encourage students to enroll and complete
Post-Secondary education no matter the 2- or 4-year institution.
Talent Search works with middle & high school grade levels 7th-12th.
We work with both Aldine Independent School District (9) and Houston Independent School
District (4).
You automatically qualify when you finish the full application and all requirements
are met, RSVP through future event links.
Yes, Parents can sign up to volunteer for Talent Search events.
No, Talent Search is a pre-college readiness program open to all eligible students.
No, we can only service students that attend one of our target schools.
If the student changes schools after admission into the program, they are typically
allowed to continue participation. However, these decisions are made on a case by
case basis.
Once a student has completed their full application, they are an active Talent Search
Participant until their high school graduation. They do not need to reapply, but can
email TalentSearch@uhd.edu to verify status.
