WELLNESS & SUCCESS CENTER
HOURS OF OPERATION:

  • Monday-Thursday: 6:00 a.m. -10:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Fitness Programs

UHD Sports & Fitness provides a comprehensive range of fitness services and programs designed to support the physical and mental well-being of the university community. Housed within the state-of-the-art Wellness & Success Center, the fitness offerings include free group exercise classes—such as Zumba, Yoga, Cardio Kickboxing, and HIIT-style workouts—that cater to all skill levels. For those seeking a more personalized approach, the department offers professional personal training assessments and individual sessions at student and non-student rates. Additionally, members can access specialized wellness services like massages and attend healthy workshops, all aimed at fostering a culture of health, leadership, and personal development on campus.

PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal Training & Fitness Assessments

Thank you for your interest in working with UHD Sports & Fitness Personal Trainers! We look forward to being a top resource for your Fitness & Wellness Journey. Please complete out Intake form, so our team can better assist you.

Scheduling: All bookings for assessments & Personal Training Sessions are to be scheduled in-person at the Wellness & Success Center Member Service Desk a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

Fitness Assessments: All students receive one free fitness assessment per semester and all non-student members of the Wellness & Success Center may book a fitness assessment for a low fee of $15. In order to book, one must complete the par-Q Health History Form and book in-person at the Wellness & Success Center Member Service Desk a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

Personal Training Sessions: In order to book a one-on-one personal training session with a certified person trainer, clients must have had an initial Fitness Assessment within the past 6 months. If you have had an initial assessment within the past 6 month, then you may book training session in-person at the Wellness & Success Center Member Service Desk.

MASSAGE THERAPY - CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE FOR 2026

The massage services at the Wellness and Success Center provide students, faculty, and staff with an affordable way to relax, reduce stress, and support overall well-being. Licensed massage therapists offer therapeutic techniques designed to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote mental clarity in a calm, restorative environment. These services are part of the center’s commitment to helping the campus community maintain balance and succeed both academically and personally.

Swedish Massage Swedish massage helps loosen tight muscles, stretches connective tissues, relieves cramps, and muscle spasms, decreases muscle fatigue, loosens joints, improves range of motion, increases muscle strength, sedates the nervous system and stimulates blood circulation while firming up muscle and skin tone.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage allows nutirents to be brought up to the tissue level within the body. It relieves muscle spasms and facilitates emotional release.

60 Minute Massages

Student Rate: Single Session $45, 3 Session Rate $120

Non-Student Rate: Single Session $60, 3 Session Rate $150​​
