With more than 67,000 alumni, the University of Houston-Downtown has a lot to be proud of! For its 50th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Hilton Americas-Houston, the university will honor six of those alums with very special awards.

Bikes, Literacy, and GatorServe

UHD came together on Saturday, Sept. 14, for a “bike build” for National Day of Service in support of improving our children’s literacy. In less than two hours, dedicated Gators built 100 bikes and put together 400 helmets.

A Fall Festival You Won’t Want To Miss! Northside Festival at UHD

The Greater Northside Management District is hosting its third iteration of the annual festival from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024. To be held in the Naylor Parking Lot of UHD’s College of Sciences and Technology Building, the free, family-friendly festival will feature a musical performance by recording artist Leslie Lugo.
