Job Summary
The Technician, Web Support Publications creates, updates, and maintains all marketing materials for digital, printed, and social media platforms.
Duties
- Creates and updates web pages, brochures, flyers, posters, booklets, and other digital and print materials
 - Creates social media content and promotes engagement between students and other organizations and groups within the university community
 - Performs administrative tasks, including, but not limited to, ordering office and other supplies, processing purchasing card charges, and reviewing and processing invoices
 - Trains and provides direction for student workers
 - Provides technical support for various applications and programs

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Associate Degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
 
Required Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of related job experience, including experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud
 
License/Certification:
- None required
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred
 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of digital and print marketing strategies appropriate for a higher education environment, and the related trends, issues, and accepted practices;
 - Knowledge of basic accounting and purchasing protocols
 
Skills:
- Good technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint;
 - Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 
Abilities:
- Ability to produce reports;
 - Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse university community
