IT Scholarship of Excellence in Service and Education

Available Awards: Three scholarships will be awarded for the academic year, ranging from $500 to $1,000 per recipient

GPA Requirement: Must have a minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA to be eligible

Eligibility Requirements:

• Current UHD undergraduate or graduate degree-seeking student
• Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the Fall 2026 term
• Must be a current or former UHD IT Department student employee

Application Components:

• A 500-word original essay on the topic: “How has Technology Changed the Workforce?
• Minimum of one letter of recommendation (PDF format preferred)
  • Note: Recommendation from your most recent UHD IT supervisor strongly encouraged

Submission Deadline: All essays and letters of recommendation must be uploaded and attached to your application no later than Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Incomplete applications cannot be submitted.
