Complete post-baccalaureate studies to advance toward a new degree or entry into professional school.
At the University of Houston-Downtown, post-baccalaureate students can advance their educational goals by enrolling in undergraduate courses, earning a second degree, or completing prerequisites for advanced degree programs.

Applying as a Post-Baccalaureate Student
If you have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and are interested in earning another bachelor's degree or completing undergraduate level classes in preparation for a graduate program, you may qualify for post-baccalaureate admission to UHD.
- Post-Baccalaureate non-degree seeking applicants are individuals that have previously earned a degree at another institution
and want to take a few courses at UHD.
- Post-Baccalaureate degree seeking applicants are individuals that have previously earned a degree at another institution and want to pursue a new degree at UHD.

Additional Information
Application processing time can vary depending on the time of year. Normal processing time is 4-5 business days once all required application materials are received. During peak periods (one month prior to the start of a semester), processing times can increase to 8-10 business days.
