The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is excited to participate in Free College Application Week, taking place October 13–19, 2025!
During this week, undergraduate students who submit an admissions application by October 19 and are classified as Texas Residents will receive a waiver for the application fee within 1-2 days of submission of application. Please note, the application is open for the Spring, Summer and Fall 2026 terms.
Eligible applicants include:
- First time in College (Freshman) students
- Transfer students
- Returning students
- Visiting students

While on campus, you will receive step-by-step guidance on completing your admissions application.
