Mail Services
The Shipping, Receiving and Mail Services Department is dedicated to supporting the UHD community by fostering excellent services in the shipping logistics processes. The department utilizes a centralized/unified system in the management of the movement of goods/services from one place to another to its final incoming/outgoing delivery destination. Shipping logistics services are provided to UHD departments (faculty/staff), student lead organizations that are housed on the UHD campus and two mail stops at UH Central campus. Shipping logistic services are not offer to individual students. UHD students can drop off prepaid letters/packages in campus mailboxes located on the third floor (entrance area across from security station) and first floor mail room.
The department is responsible for the preparation of recycling products for the campus (click on "Recycling Services" for more details).
University of Houston-Downtown shipping, receiving, mail services is in the One Main building, Suite 101 N.
Hours of operations is Monday-Friday 7:00 am- 5:00 pm.
The department's staff consists of an Assistant Director, two full time employees and two work-study students.
The staff is devoted to excellence in performance and is committed to providing quality and reliable mailing/shipping services to the UHD community.
