Health Professions Advisory Committee

The Health Professions Advisory Committee provides advising for students interested in entering health-related professions, including admission into professional schools. UHD degree-seeking students interested in applying to a professional school must obtain letter of recommendation forms from the Natural Sciences Department that must be completed and turned in to Dr. Bowden. The committee chair collects letters and writes a committee letter (preferred by most medical and dental schools). The committee letter and individual letters will be sent as an HPAC package to the professional schools for which the student has applied to.

Students should be mindful of deadlines for medical and dental schools shown in the link below - failure to observe them will delay your application, which can dramatically impact your chances of obtaining an interview and admittance!
