It is assumed that most students are knowledgeable about proper presentation of citations and bibliographies. To ensure that IS students are familiar with the rules of research writing, the UHD library has created several useful resources citing and writing resource page focuses on how to do citations. The plagiarism informational page offers examples of when to cite material, how to paraphrase, and some examples to use for practice. 

Additionally, The Writing and Reading Center is here to help any paper of general research and writing tips. Also available are some online tutorials on how to use some of the library’s research tools/databases. And, students can always contact the library’s “Ask a Librarian” page where students can get research help in person, online,  or over the phone.
