The President’s Lecture Series celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with an in-depth look at the remarkable life journey of Houston immigration attorney Harry Gee Jr.—a journey shaped by resilience, service, and family values across generations.
Educational consultant Nancy J. Li will moderate “Legacy and Leadership Featuring Harry Gee Jr. and his Children” at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, on the 11th Floor of the One Main Building. Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP.
This powerful conversation with Gee and his daughters Sonja Gee and Claudia Gee Vassar will explore the meanings of legacy, leadership, and the immigrant experience. The event is open to all.
Gee has been happily married to the former Antje Wuelfrath for more than 40 years, and they are the proud parents of three children: Andrew, Claudia, and Sonja, who are 1997, 1999, and 2001 graduates of Rice University, respectively. They are especially proud grandparents of eight adorable grandchildren.
Nancy J. Li is an educational consultant, community activist, and Co-founder & President of Royal Education Foundation, with more than 30 years of experience in leadership and service.
