This past weekend the UHD Baseball team traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas, to compete in the NCBA Div 2 Great American South Regional Playoff Tournament from May 1-3, 2026. After producing a competitive 10-3 overall record in season play and boasting an impressive 87-run point differential, the team qualified for the post season where they faced off against Lone Star College-Kingwood, Stephen F. Austin State University, and the University of Arkansas, a playoff rival from last year's run.
The UHD ESports Smash Bros team also sent four players to CECC Nationals in Waco, Texas, over the weekend to represent UHD as one of the top 96 teams in the country for the title.

Women's Soccer
Women's Soccer had a dominant year, qualifying for the playoffs in both the fall and spring seasons, and brought home two championship trophies!
Women's Volleyball
In fall 2025, the Women’s Volleyball team advanced to the playoffs in the Lone Star Sport Club Conference. Special recognition goes to the Fall All-Tournament MVP Sharanda Anderson. The Women's Volleyball team continued their success in spring 2026, finishing the regular season with a 5-1 record, advancing to the playoffs in the Lone Star Sport Club Conference.
Men's Volleyball
In their first semester of league competition, the Men’s Volleyball team won the Inaugural HCSC Men's Volleyball Legue Championship after going undefeated this spring. They will defend their title in the fall semester as well as compete in the Southern Diamond Conference.
Wrestling
Our UHD Wrestling program sent two talented individuals to the NCWA National Championships again this year! Lelan Hernadez and Carlos Lopez Rodriguez represented UHD in Shreveport, Louisiana, after placing fourth and sixth place, respectively, in their conferences.
Iracing :
During the Collegiate Iracing League UNOH College Cup Series Season 13, Miguel Carrera placed 23rd out of 57 in the student championship and 32nd out of 83 in the overall championship. In Season 14, Miguel continued his success, placing 15th out of 48 in the student championship and 20th out of 60 in the overall championship prior to the season finale earlier last week.
ESPORTS
Valorant
Our Valorant team competed in the playoffs in both the fall and spring semester inside the NACE organization. In spring 2026, the team advanced to the quarter-finals of the playoffs.
Marvel Rivals
In spring 2026, the UHD Varsity Marvel Rivals team finished 5-1. The UHD JV Marvel Rivals teams completed the regular season with a 4-3 record. Both the Varsity and the JV teams advanced to playoffs, falling in the first round.
Rainbow 6
The Rainbow 6 team competed in NECC Division 5 and advanced to the playoffs in both the fall and spring seasons. This semester the team advanced to the third round in the playoffs earning an opportunity to compete in Division 5 Nationals.
SMASH BROS
In Fall 2025, the Smash Bros team qualified for the playoffs in NECC advancing to the first round of the finals in the Play in bracket. Smash Bros also advanced to the elite eight during an in-season tournament in the fall.
During the Spring semester Smash Bros continued their success advancing to the playoffs in NECC, falling after the semifinals.
