"Meeting students where they are" was the vision for UHD's recent Bayou Bound event at San Jacinto College South. Literally. So all the great people and programs of UHD transported themselves to San Jac South for the morning of Feb. 6, allowing 400 Pasadena ISD Early College Program students from Dolby and South Houston high schools to experience all that UHD has to offer. They heard from the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Greater Texas Foundation Program. Additionally, students engaged with eSports, club sports, Scholars Academy, the programs of all four colleges, our counseling services, library, and so much more, all thanks to UHD's Division of Enrollment Management. Seniors already admitted to UHD were given the opportunity to be the first to sign up for New Student Orientation and received a T-Mobile hotspot!
