Student Leadership & Involvement and Sports & Fitness hosted the annual, One Main Event, on Thursday, April 16. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together over 200 students, staff, and community members for an unforgettable evening of celebration and recognition. This year’s Mission Impossible theme set the tone for a high-energy experience, beginning with an incredible opening performance by the Houston Pride Band.
The event honored outstanding contributions across Student Leadership & Involvement, Sports & Fitness, and the O’Kane Theatre, highlighting the impact and excellence of our campus community.
Following the awards ceremony, guests enjoyed a lively casino night, music from a DJ, and a fantastic dinner provided by Sodexo. The combination of entertainment, community, and celebration created a vibrant atmosphere that truly reflected the spirit of UHD. One Main Event continues to serve as a cornerstone program, recognizing achievements while fostering connection and pride across campus.
