Thursday, Nov. 27, will mark the third Thanksgiving Day in a row featuring the 45-foot-tall Ed-U-Gator balloon in Houston’s annual H-E-B Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year he will be joined by UHD cheerleaders, the Gatorettes dance team, and a drumline comprised of former UHD students. More than 50 current UHD students, student organizational leaders, faculty, and staff will actually “walk” the balloon.

Smith and Milam streets will be the main street-level viewing areas, so all Gators are encouraged to come out and support UHD! Be on the lookout for foam alligator visors as parade gifts to be handed out by UHD volunteers along the parade route
