Marilyn Davies College of Business (MDCOB) recently received re-accreditation through The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB-International). This year, MCOB joins 72 institutions receiving the organization’s prestigious seal. According to the AACSB, only 6% of business schools worldwide receive accreditation.
“Achieving re-accreditation is a powerful signal that our college is producing graduates who meet the needs and standards of our community of business practitioners and academic leaders," said Jonathan Davis, Ph.D., MDCOB Dean. “AACSB remains the highest standard in our field, and we are honored to be accredited alongside the most prestigious colleges of business in the world.”
In addition, AACSB recognized the college’s MBA program for its “unique and powerful team-teaching approach with industry leaders,” as well as the newest program offerings in human resources management and graduate accounting plus the college’s career center led by Brett Hobby. Davis says, “These points of pride are a few aspects of our determined approach to serving our students and producing career-ready graduates.”
