How Your Gift Helps Students
Over the past decade, UHD faculty and staff have come together to make a lasting impact
through the Give to Gators campaign. Just 50 people giving $25 each can fund $1,250
in student book scholarships—proof that every contribution counts.
During FY2024 and FY2025, a total of $32,269.84 was expended across various Excellence Funds to support student success, faculty
development, and program initiatives. The Accounting Excellence Fund invested $7,568.87, supporting scholarships, faculty memberships, and student/faculty engagement. The
Business Excellence Fund totaled $14,299.97, funding student scholarships and events, accreditation and donor-related expenses.
The Marketing Excellence Fund contributed $2,801.00, which supported student conference participation and recognition through graduation
stoles. Additionally, named scholarships—Dean Bates, Dr. Asghar Nazemzadeh Memorial, Michael Fields, and Bobby Bizzell Memorial Scholarships—provided over $7,600 in direct financial support to students. Overall, the majority of expenditures were
dedicated to scholarships and student engagement, underscoring the college’s commitment
to academic excellence and community involvement.
