Applying to UHD - Office of Admissions
All students seeking admission to the University of Houston-Downtown must apply online via the Apply Texas application, visit
applytexas.org.
ApplyTexas is the application portal used by all Texas public universities. You will need to create a profile on ApplyTexas and then select the University of Houston-Downtown as your school of choice when applying. The entire application can be completed online and your progress will be saved as you progress through the application.

Do I need to submit a new application to UHD?
Admission applications are valid for one application cycle which includes the spring, summer and fall terms. The application opens on September 1 of each year for the following spring summer and fall terms.
